Liberty and Scuba Dogs Society reaffirm their commitment to our coastlines for the sixth consecutive year

Loíza, Puerto Rico, September 19, 2026 - La Pocita Beach in Loíza is cleaner today thanks to the dedication and hard work of Liberty Puerto Rico volunteers, who participated in the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup alongside Scuba Dogs Society. Volunteers removed 105 pounds of waste, including 30 pounds of recyclable glass.

This initiative marks six years of continuous collaboration between Liberty, the official telecommunications company of the International Coastal Cleanup, and Scuba Dogs Society. This partnership reflects both organizations’ commitment to environmental protection and the conservation of Puerto Rico’s natural resources.

On this occasion, 23 employee volunteers came together to remove litter from La Pocita, contributing to the health of coastal ecosystems and the well-being of local communities. Through their participation, Liberty volunteers joined thousands of people around the world who are taking part in this global effort to reduce pollution and promote greater environmental awareness.

We thank everyone who showed up and contributed their time and energy to make a positive impact on our coastlines. Together, we continue building a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Puerto Rico for future generations.

Liberty y Scuba Dogs Society reafirman su compromiso con nuestras costas por sexto año consecutivo

Loíza, Puerto Rico, 19 de septiembre de 2026 - La playa La Pocita, en Loíza, está más limpia gracias al esfuerzo y compromiso de los voluntarios de Liberty Puerto Rico, quienes participaron en la Limpieza Internacional de Costas junto a Scuba Dogs Society. Los voluntarios recogerion 105 libras de desperdicios, incluyendo 30 libras de vidrio reciclable.

Esta jornada marca seis años de colaboración continua entre Liberty, empresa de telecomunicaciones oficial de la Limpieza Internacional de Costas 2026, y Scuba Dogs Society. Esta alianza refleja el compromiso de ambas organizaciones con la protección del medioambiente y la conservación de los recursos naturales de Puerto Rico.

Veintitrés empleados voluntarios se unieron en esta ocasión para recoger desperdicios en La Pocita, contribuyendo a la salud de los ecosistemas costeros y al bienestar de las comunidades. Con su participación, los voluntarios de Liberty se sumaron a miles de personas alrededor del mundo que forman parte de este esfuerzo global para reducir la contaminación y promover una mayor conciencia ambiental.
