When we work together, resources multiply and the impact of each initiative is amplified, as shown in the 2025 USVI - Liberty Foundation Impact Report. This reality becomes even more important when it comes to our most vulnerable communities in the U.S. Virgin Islands, which rely on nonprofit organizations that work tirelessly so that all our people can thrive.
“Collaboration made it possible for our communities to move forward in the face of the challenges of 2025. At the Liberty Foundation, we join forces with NPOs so that children, youth, and adults can continue receiving the essential services they need throughout the year to achieve their full development,” said Giovanna Ramírez de Arellano, president of the Liberty Foundation.
Our mission at the Liberty Foundation goes beyond the monetary assistance we provide to nonprofit organizations delivering direct services. “Each year, we continue expanding our reach to walk alongside them and offer a wide range of support that enables them to deliver more and better life-transforming services under our four pillars: education, social well-being and health, art, and environmental protection,” said Yadira Valdivia, executive director of the Liberty Foundation.
This commitment has been present since Liberty began offering telecommunications services on our islands in 2020. “It has always been about standing hand in hand with nonprofits across the USVI, supporting their mission to uplift and care for underserved communities. Our commitment to people in need comes from the heart, and we are proud to invest our time, energy, and resources in the communities we serve. It is a true privilege to support the meaningful, life-changing work these organizations carry out every day,” said Catherine Kling, general manager of Liberty VI.
We appreciate the support that we have received from our collaborators, especially our colleagues from Liberty VI, and honor the amazing work of our beneficiaries by highlighting their contributions to the socioeconomic development of the U.S. Virgin Islands during 2025, as well as some of their plans for the future.
